Costs? The cost of materials for the unendorsed Art and Design course approx. £50. Should you opt for an endorsed title e.g. Photography then material costs could be considerably higher from £50-£500. A comprehensive list of the materials required for the unendorsed Art and Design course (e.g. paints, sketchbooks), will be made be made available upon application for the course. The endorsed Photography course advises candidates to possess their own camera, preferably a digital Single Lens Reflex (SLR) for creative photography. A 35mm film Single Lens Reflex (SLR) is useful but not essential as technology has advanced into digital cameras but it is always good to experiment with traditional techniques as well. There is a limited supply of SLR cameras within the Art Department with limited use within the college boundaries.
