Coleg Menai's Another Chance is a programme that gives adults a second chance at learning. The programme supports adults to improve their number, reading, writing and IT skills.
The programme is offered at different levels e.g. from entry level to level 2. Courses are tailored to meet the needs of the individual and it is possible to attend all sessions or to
concentrate on the number, language or IT sessions. A large part of the provision is offered in local community centres. Usually there is no more than 8 in a group and sessions are
always informal and friendly.
The programme offers a range of qualifications, one of which is Essential Skills Wales. This Communication and Number qualification at Level 2 is comparable to a C grade GCSE.
