The licensed training restaurant in Friars offers amazing value for money

All the food is freshly prepared and cooked to a high standard by our student chefs under the guidance of our experienced chef tutors. The restaurant is open to the public some lunch times and evenings and is also available for private functions and group bookings up to 35 people.

The restaurant is open term time only for lunches and dinners.

  • Lunch is served Wednesday to Friday - 12.00 noon
  • Dinner served Wednesday & Thursday - 6.30pm
  • We suggest that pick-ups be arranged for no later than 2.30p.m. after lunch and 9.00 p.m. after dinner.

We are happy to accommodate parties of up to 35 and children are always welcome.

Lunch - £9.00: 

  • Starters - £2.15
  • Main courses - £4.15
  • Puddings - £2.00
  • Coffee/Tea - 0.70p

Dinner - £11.95 (Three courses and coffee)

Payment methods

We accept cash sterling and cheques with a valid guarantee card. Credit may be extended only by prior arrangement.

Gratuities

All gratuities are paid into a student tip account and are used to help fund educational trips.

Special diets

Where possible, we will endeavour to accommodate guests with specific dietary requirements. To assist us we ask customers to mention any requirements at the time of booking. Vegetarian dishes are included on every menu. Any of our food items may contain traces of nuts. Please ask the restaurant supervisor for any information about food or drink items.

Drinks

We have a licensed bar with a stock of wines, spirits and soft drinks available to diners.
