Construction: Crafts

This is a one year course designed to give students a preliminary qualification in Bricklaying, providing the knowledge, skills and understanding required to progress to the level 2 Diploma in Site Bricklaying.  This scheme is designed to cover the basic knowledge in Bricklaying. In addition to the theory there is a full programme of elementary practical tasks completed in the workshop. The Level 1 course will lead to Level 2 Diploma.  

This is a one year course designed to give students a preliminary qualification in carpentry and joinery, providing the knowledge, skills and understanding required to progress to the Level 2 Diploma in either Site Carpentry or Bench Joinery
This scheme is designed to cover the basic knowledge in carpentry and joinery. In addition to theory there is a full programme of elementary practical tasks completed in the workshop.
The Level 1 course will lead to Level 2 Diploma. All students will embark on a course of study that integrates Level 1 Carpentry and Joinery Skills.
 

This is a one year course designed to give students a preliminary qualification in Plastering, providing the knowledge, skills and understanding required to progress to the level 2 Diploma in Plastering.

This scheme is designed to cover the basic knowledge within the Plastering industry. In addition to the theory there is a full programme of elementary practical tasks completed in the workshop.

The Level 1 course will lead to Level 2 Diploma. All students will embark on a course of study that integrates Level 1 Solid and Fibrous Plastering Skills.
 

This course is for those people who are employed in the Brickwork trade and wishes to gain a qualification in the industry

You will also be required to attend a work placement to gain valuable on-the-job training. Attendance at your work placement is  essential.

This is a one year course designed to give students a preliminary qualification in Plastering, providing the knowledge, skills and understanding required to progress to the Level 2 Diploma in Plastering.  This scheme is designed to cover the basic knowledge within the Plastering industry. In addition to the theory there is a full programme of elementary practical tasks completed in the workshop.

The Level 1 course will lead to Level 2 Diploma. All students will embark on a course of study that integrates Level 1 Solid and Fibrous Plastering Skills.

This course is designed to give students a preliminary qualification in banker masonry providing the knowledge, skills and understanding required to progress to the Level 3.

This scheme is designed to cover the basic knowledge in Stonemasonry and . In addition to the theory there is a full programme of elementary practical tasks completed in the workshop.
