e-Zone suite

e-Zone To meet the demand for more learning resources, a new e-zone suite has been created for the learners.

The e-zone suite is a “one-stop-shop” maximising support for the learners. There is an open access IT area equipped with 48 computers so that learners can drop-in and carry out work or study during any free periods and also access teaching and learning resources, whether directly from the College, or from the internet.

 

e-Learning

e-Zone E-Learning is simply another way of learning, using the latest technological advances such as multimedia simulations to create a dynamic and engaging environment for your learning.

E-Learning is now the norm and tools such as e-mail and discussion forums allow instant communication between tutors and learners. Coleg Menai believes in giving learners the opportunity to learn in their language of choice. One of the ways in which we can do this is through bilingual E-Learning technology.

 

Moodle

e-Zone Moodle is the College’s Virtual Learning Environment or VLE. This software system joins up each part of the learning process. It can be used to store course information and materials, assessments and student work. Moodle gives learners real fl exibility in terms of when, where and in which language: Welsh or English - they choose.

It also helps learners manage their workload. Learners can communicate with their tutors and other learners online,and work collaboratively if required.
