The programme area provides students with the opportunity to gain experience of a variety of health and social care professions. The courses are all delivered in the modern, custom-built care centre on the Llangefni site, by highly experienced professional staff.
CRB checks will be undertaken on all full-time students when they start at college.

BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health Studies
“I studied the Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care course at Coleg Menai. I studied a range of
subjects including anatomy, therapy studies, effective communication skills and I also learnt about
laws in different organisations. I enjoyed all aspects of the course especially anatomy as I found
the subject very interesting. The tutors were great; they helped me so much and they enabled me
to achieve more than I ever expected. I’m currently studying the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma
in Health Studies course at the college and the course is going great; I feel more confident and
I’ve made more friends too. After completing the course I’m hoping to go to University to follow a
Nursing degree.”
