Our Travel and Tourism students gain excellent experience through a wide range of activities linked to the local tourism activities. If you are enthusiastic and well-organised you could build an exciting career in the travel industry, where there are good opportunities for people with the right qualifications. BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism
“I’m currently studying the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Travel and Tourism at Coleg Menai. I’m studying a range of subjects including business, marketing and the travel and tourism industry. My favourite part of the course is the educational trips that we go on. We’ve visited a range of places so far including Caernarfon Castle, Penrhyn Castle, the Welsh Government and Visit Wales in Llandudno Junction. My tutors are great! They’re really supportive and are always ready to help. After completing the course, I hope to become a holiday rep and then I would like to go on to University to study Hotel Management.”
