The main Coleg Menai campus is in the exciting University City of Bangor with specialized campuses in Parc Menai, Llangefni and Caernarfon. Each campus offers successful routes to higher education or employment.
The number of students increases every year with over 9,000 students and 600 staff. We offer a wide range of academic and vocational courses in a variety of subjects. If you're undecided we have experienced staff of high quality that will help you make the right choice.

Bangor
Coleg Menai’s main site is based in the exciting University City of Bangor. The campus in Ffordd Ffriddoedd is near the railway station and handily placed for many of the city’s leisure facilities. The campus is home to specialised learning facilities for Business and Management, Engineering, Sport, Leisure and Travel, as well as housing the college’s International Centre. There is also a major Learning and Resources centre and Student Services suite, where students can access the full range of services to support them in the academic and personal aspects of coming to college.

Friars
Programmes in Hair, Beauty and Complementary Therapies and Catering, Hospitality and Tourism are based in Bangor’s historic Friars building, now equipped for 21st century learning. The state of the art facilities include a fully licensed training restaurant and kitchen; student run coffee shop; and well-equipped training salons and treatment areas. These first class services are open to the public within this grade II listed building.

Llangefni
The principal Anglesey site of Coleg Menai is located in the island’s County Town of Llangefni. The campus provides education and training in Construction, Automotive Engineering, Health and Social Care, Independent Living Skills and Information Technology. The college’s nationally important Food Technology Centre is also located on this campus, on the edge of rolling countryside with views of the mountains of Snowdonia.
Recently the Llangefni campus has been enhanced with the opening of the new Care Studies Centre, creating a focus for education and training in the growing area of Health and Social care. Further developments on the Estates are nearing completion, making the site one of Wales’ most modern and attractive FE campuses.

Parc Menai
Coleg Menai’s Arts, Design and Media Centre is based on the Bangor Business Park, which is actually set in beautiful parkland. The Art and Design, and Media programmes develop talents in a range of artistic fields and also offer essential training in specialisms like Graphic Design, Illustration, Animation, Fashion and Textiles Photography, Ceramics, Single Camera equipment and Digital Video Editing.

Holyhead
The Ty Cyfle centre in Holyhead is a well-equipped college outreach centre with a full range of educational and training facilities including an IT drop-in centre. Initiatives promoted at the Centre include New Deal, Basic Skills Programme, Access to Higher Education, Return to Learning, Learndirect, Business Administration and Welsh for Adults. At the high street site, you can also choose from a wide range of evening classes - from Sign Language to Aromatherapy to the Introduction of Counselling as well as Computer courses at varying levels.

Caernarfon
Coleg Menai’s base in Caernarfon is a purpose-built centre with a full range of educational and training facilities including an IT drop-in centre. The centre has been designed to fit in with the historic buildings around it on the Maes, and yet offer state of the art learning facilities. Initiatives promoted at the Centre include Basic Skills, Art and Design, and Access to Higher Education. There is also a variety of business programmes available including Customer Care, Marketing, and Team Building. The evening classes range from Aromatherapy to Water Colour Painting to a variety of Language courses as well as Computer programmes.
