Video Conferencing

Videoconferencing is a method of conferencing between two or more locations so that everyone taking part can communicate in sound and vision. You could think of it as live, interactive television where all sides can see and talk to each other in real time.

The College is part of the Welsh Video Network, one of the most advanced video conferencing systems in the world. Coleg Menai has Video Conferencing studios at Bangor, Llangefni, Caernarfon and Holyhead centres. You could be using video-conferencing within your courses for:

• Linking your class with another similar class in Wales - or even another country
• Special virtual seminars/lectures with national institutions (e.g. the British Library) or
• Discussion with guest speakers from around the world
